Beds Appeal Update: Delivery time!

In January 2007 we launched our Special Beds Appeal. Thanks to the support of the Comet Newspaper adopting us as their Charity of the Year, alongside local community support and individuals undertaking the most amazing fundraising challenges we announced proceeds in excess of £45,000.

We are now delighted to announce that our residents are beginning to benefit from the hard work that has gone on behind the scenes and from the generosity of those who contributed to the appeal, as we begin to receive our specialist Huntington’s beds this May.

Beds and chairs in their everyday form, are of a comfort level that most people are able to take for granted. However, those living with a serious illness which over time will create profound physical complications, have a critical need for specialist beds and chairs which can make a marked difference to their quality of life.
